So if you get asked to go fishing with the Inskeeps you might want to rethink that idea. We showed up to Pineview and had just launched the boat out into the water while it was starting to get a little light outside. After being all settled in the boat and cruising the water Melissa starts telling me this story about Zach and Clifford. THEN all of a sudden the boat jumps out of the water and we come to a hault. I look up to say what the heck and realize we are up on something and not moving. Zach was following this boat that was going around a point and noticed something was rippling in the water. He asks Sean what is that? After saying that he realizes it's a SAND BAR out in the middle of the lake not even marked. We hit the edge of the sand bar that makes the boat jump up and lands us in the middle of it. All of us had to get out of the boat and turn the boat around in icy cold water remember the sun is not even up yet. Once we got the boat turned we looked where the best spot would be to push the boat over the hump of the sand bar. It took us 30 minutes to get the boat off the sand bar and back into the boat. It was so strange to be standing in about two feet of water in the middle of the lake. We spent the rest of the day fishing around the edge's of the lake. Zach caught a fish right in the beginning of the morning and I caught a very tiny fish at the end of the day. We had a great time fishing with Melissa and Zach. All day long we kept laughing and could not believe with all the places in the lake we hit the SAND BAR.
