Decorating the Tree

This years ornaments for the boys where snowman and reindeer doing snow angels in the snow. Austin is so starting to turn into a teenager. It was like pulling his teeth to get him to decorate the tree with us in the beginning, but I think he started warming up to it. I really like it when we all decorate the tree because it puts me into the Christmas spirit.

Better Late Then Never

How blue are his eyes
Love how brown his eyes are

He gets so embrassed talking about girls

Landon wanted to do a serious one

So this picture's should of been posted the beginning of October. The picture's where taken for Jaron and Landon's eighth birthday and Austin's eleventh birthday. I also had some picture's taken with Maya in the picture to give a picture of his kids with his dog for his birthday. I really loved how great the picture's turned out and it amazes me how much they have changed from last year. To see the difference look at the big family picture posted at the top of our blog and you can see the difference. Getting picture's taken with Maya was quite the chore. First of all Sean had her leash in his truck so I had to use this cable thing which really hurt when she would tug on the leash because she was trying to run and play with the other dogs. When it was Maya's turn to be in the picture it was difficult to get her to look at the camera because she wanted to play with the boys. After a couple of hours having the picture's taken at a lake around daybreak we ended up with some good ones.

Sledding or is it Sliding

With Brian and Jessie visiting they wanted Hunter to have an experience with sliding that is what they call it back in the East. Well he didn't quite like it at all. Hunter got sprayed in the face with the snow and he was done. The rest of us Sean, Jaron, Landon, Austin, Heather, Tim, and I made sure to get in a few runs before we had to go. Lots of good tricks with trying to do spins and the longest trains. Brian and Jessie are just hoping with Hunter not liking sliding that he will like sledding.

UTAH VS. BYU

Well it's the last game of the season and we are all sad that we have to wait for 2011 football season to start. With it being the last game we made sure to get up to the stadium early since we haven't really gotten the chance to tailgate with the other games. With it being so cold outside we still made the best of it. By the fourth quarter Utah finally put us on the board and it was like we didn't start playing until the end of the game. With only minutes to go we were ahead of BYU but they had the ball and where taking there time trying to run out the clock. The plan was for them to try for a touchdown or at least get as close to there field goal to get field goal points. With like 4 seconds left of the game BYU gets ready to kick in a field goal and we all stand around feeling defeated already and sad that the last game of the season we where going to have a lost. Then Utah blocks the field goal and we WIN, yes UTAH WINS!!! the final score being 17 to 16. It was a great way to end the season.

Thanksgiving What I am Thankful for

This year we stayed in town instead of going to Yuma to spend Thanksgiving with my family. What made this Thanksgiving so different from the others was that Brian, Jessie, and Hunter flew in from North Carolina to spend this holiday with us. It was great to see the three of them since last time we saw them it was only for about two hours since we had just gotten home from Hawaii and they were leaving to go home. We had dinner over at Steve and Becky's. After dinner we played phase ten and I totally dominated the board. I am truly thankful for my four boys Sean, Austin, Jaron and Landon. I enjoy being the wife and mother to them and I couldn't imagine my life without them.

Arrow of Light and Webelos

Sorry about the picture's coming in so blurry, but this is such an accomplishment. Austin has finished going through the Cub Scouts with getting his Arrow of Light and Webelos badges. Sean and I are so proud of him for getting his goals signed off and making it through the end of Cub Scouts. Now onto being a Boy Scout which I am sure he is going to love.

UTAH Vs.TCU

Really there is not much to say about this game except Utah nevered showed up to play. We were in line to go through the gate 30 minutes before the game even started and the ticket people where going so slow that we didn't get to our seats until half the first quarter was over. Once we were all sat down and excited to watch a good and close game against TCU turned into TCU totally taking the game over. It was our blackout game where everyone dressed in there black ute's gear and that was pretty much the only cool thing about the whole game. The score at the end of the game was 47 to 7. Yes we only scored 7 points like I said the team didn't showed up to play.
