Thanksgiving What I am Thankful for

This year we stayed in town instead of going to Yuma to spend Thanksgiving with my family. What made this Thanksgiving so different from the others was that Brian, Jessie, and Hunter flew in from North Carolina to spend this holiday with us. It was great to see the three of them since last time we saw them it was only for about two hours since we had just gotten home from Hawaii and they were leaving to go home. We had dinner over at Steve and Becky's. After dinner we played phase ten and I totally dominated the board. I am truly thankful for my four boys Sean, Austin, Jaron and Landon. I enjoy being the wife and mother to them and I couldn't imagine my life without them.

Arrow of Light and Webelos

Sorry about the picture's coming in so blurry, but this is such an accomplishment. Austin has finished going through the Cub Scouts with getting his Arrow of Light and Webelos badges. Sean and I are so proud of him for getting his goals signed off and making it through the end of Cub Scouts. Now onto being a Boy Scout which I am sure he is going to love.

UTAH Vs.TCU

Really there is not much to say about this game except Utah nevered showed up to play. We were in line to go through the gate 30 minutes before the game even started and the ticket people where going so slow that we didn't get to our seats until half the first quarter was over. Once we were all sat down and excited to watch a good and close game against TCU turned into TCU totally taking the game over. It was our blackout game where everyone dressed in there black ute's gear and that was pretty much the only cool thing about the whole game. The score at the end of the game was 47 to 7. Yes we only scored 7 points like I said the team didn't showed up to play.

Happy Halloween

The Cast of I Love Lucy
Referee and Scary Man
Cowgirl and Cowboy
Holy Poop and the roll of Toilet Paper

Austin dressed up as The Devil, Jaron went as Frankinstein, Landon went as Davey Jones, I went as Little Red Riding Hood and Sean was the Wolf. It was a VERY cold Halloween. We went over to the Inskeep's to do our trick or treating with Lexi, Madie, Colyn, Nash, and our kids. It was raining so hard and the wind was blowing like crazy. Our kids where the hard core ones they didn't want to stop trick or treating even after all the kids had gone back home. Even with them staying outside longer they still didn't get to be out for as long as they usually get to, but it still was a success. After trick or treating Zach and Melissa had a Halloween party. It was a great party with lots of great people dressed up and great conservation with good friends. Over all we had a wonderful Halloween.

Carving Pumpkins

It amazes me how every year the boys get SO grossed out when they have to clean out there pumpkins. They are getting better each year with cleaning out there pumpkins. Landon pumpkin had a scary face carved on his. Jaron had flying ghosts carved on his. Austin did a free hand of the Jazz note for the Utah Jazz. Another great year of pumpkins.

Hunting for Pumpkins

We got all bundled up to hunting for our pumpkins. We decided to go to the pumpkin patch that was right behind our neighborhood. The boys dove right in and started searching for the one pumpkin they here going to carve. They picked so many saying this is the one, but then they would find another one that was better than the other one. After going through the whole pumpkin patch we left with three pumpkins ready to be carved.

SURPRISE!!!! Birthday dinner for Sean

I wanted to do something special for Sean. I had decided a few weeks ago that I was going to have his friends come and surprise him at a dinner. I decided we would all have dinner at Famous Dave's one of his favorite places to eat. The story that I told him was that him and I where going to go on a date and have some dinner. When we pulled into the parking lot he asks me "Is that the Browns truck?" I told him I was not sure if that was there truck because the type of truck they have is a popular truck. He left it at that until we started walking through the doors and sees Maria. He says "The Browns are here." After saying that everyone else yells SURPRISE! He just shakes his head and tells me that he didn't need anything special for his birthday. I told him I know that is how you feel and that is exactly why I did a surprise dinner for you. We all had a great night eating good food and good company. Thanks Maria, Bobby, Paige, Kelly, Melissa, Zach, Shiree, Tim, Heather, Jay, Diana, Jason, and Quinn for all being there and helping me making it be a SURPRISE. Happy Birthday Honey!
